Sell IPv4 addresses
Turn unused address space into cash, with the buyer vetted and the funds secured before anything moves.
If you hold IPv4 space you no longer route, it is an asset sitting idle. DCXV finds a verified buyer, opens escrow so you are not relying on a stranger to pay, and handles the registry submission.
Our fee is charged per address and scales down with block size, so a larger allocation costs proportionally less to sell.
Contact usHow selling works
- Send us the block and the registry it sits in.
- We confirm you hold the resource and check whether the range is currently listed anywhere.
- We price it against recent comparable transfers and agree a target with you.
- We introduce a vetted buyer and open escrow once terms are agreed.
- You sign the transfer agreement and open the ticket with your registry.
- The registry completes the transfer and escrow releases your funds.
What affects the price you get
- Block size. Larger contiguous ranges attract more buyers and a lower per-address fee.
- Reputation. A range with no blacklist history sells faster and higher.
- Registry region. Demand and transfer rules differ between RIPE NCC, ARIN and APNIC.
- Whether the range is contiguous or split across several smaller allocations.
Questions and answers
- What does it cost to sell?
The broker fee is charged per address and depends on block size: EUR 2.00 per IP for /24 to /23, EUR 1.00 for /22 to /19, and EUR 0.50 for /18 to /14.
- Do I get paid before or after the transfer?
The buyer wires funds into escrow before the transfer begins. Escrow releases them to you once the registry confirms the transfer completed.
- Can I sell part of an allocation?
Yes, provided the part you sell is at least a /24 and your registry permits splitting the original allocation.
- Do I need to still be routing the space?
No. Unrouted space is routinely sold, and is often exactly what is being sold.
