Lease IPv4 addresses

Get routable address space in days instead of weeks, without buying it outright or joining a registry.

Leasing gets you usable IPv4 space quickly and without capital outlay. You get a Letter of Authorization so your upstream will accept the announcement, and RPKI records where the holder supports it.

It suits anyone who needs addresses now, needs them temporarily, or cannot justify buying a block outright: a project ramping up, a migration window, or a service that needs clean space it did not inherit.

How leasing works

  1. Tell us the block size and how long you need it.
  2. We match you with available space and confirm its reputation is clean.
  3. You sign the lease agreement and we issue the Letter of Authorization.
  4. The holder publishes an RPKI ROA for your ASN where supported.
  5. You announce the space and it is live, typically within 2 to 3 business days.

Lease or buy

Leasing is faster to arrange, needs no registry membership and no large upfront payment, but the space is never yours and the monthly cost continues indefinitely.

Buying costs more upfront and takes longer to complete, but the block becomes your asset, and it can be sold later. If the need is permanent and you can wait a few weeks, buying is usually the better economics.

What is included

  • Letter of Authorization your upstream provider will accept.
  • RPKI ROA for your ASN where the address holder supports it.
  • Reputation check on the range before it is handed over.
  • Monthly terms, with the option to extend or return the space.

Questions and answers

- How fast can leased IPv4 be live?

Typically 2 to 3 business days from inquiry to announcement, since no registry transfer is involved.

- Do I need to be a RIPE NCC member to lease?

No. Leasing requires no registry membership, which is one of the main reasons it is chosen over buying.

- Will I get a Letter of Authorization?

Yes. An LOA is issued for every lease so your upstream will accept the route announcement.

- Is RPKI supported?

Where the address holder supports it, a ROA is published for your ASN so the announcement validates.
