Quem somos?

What was the way?

2007

Our story began in 2007 in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Two students decided to start a company from scratch — without investors, without seed capital, just an idea and a strong desire to grow. That's why we truly understand the value of every achievement.

At the very beginning, we provided internet access services to residents of Kharkiv, Ukraine. We built a local network where users could exchange data within the network and access the internet. The first infrastructure was literally at our home: the first router, the first billing system to track traffic and client accounts. The room was noisy and hot, so we soon moved all the equipment to a storage room.

To organize the first "server room," we had to run Category 5e Ethernet cables and power lines. Since the cables could not be left in sight, we chiseled channels in the walls — about 15 meters — and then carefully plastered them so nothing was visible. The neighbors were not happy, but the network kept growing.

Over time, two ADSL modems with unlimited internet became insufficient. We then built our first optical "last mile" to get a more stable and wider connection. This was our first experience working with fiber optics — an important step forward.

2009 – 2010

In 2009–2010, the network expanded rapidly. We upgraded equipment and bought the first large hard drives, which were later rented to clients for data storage. The demand for hosting grew, and with it, our infrastructure grew as well.

This was not a story of instant success with million-dollar investments like in glossy magazines. We reinvested every earned penny back into the business. Instead of buying new phones or personal luxuries, we kept investing in the network and hosting — because we truly loved what we did.

Gradually, we started organizing processes and expanding Wi-Fi coverage to remote areas of Kharkiv, Ukraine, where there was no quality internet access. Clients became increasingly interested in virtual and dedicated servers. However, the server infrastructure was still in that storage room. It was getting hotter. In an urgent move, we broke part of a brick wall, knowing there was a ventilation shaft behind it, and installed a window air conditioner. We managed to lower the temperature to 25°C; otherwise, the equipment would have overheated. At that moment, it became clear: we had outgrown the storage room.

In 2012, a strategic decision was made — to separate the local network and hosting services. That's how a separate company, DCXV.COM (Data Center Xivicom), was created. We began building a full-fledged server room in the building of the A.Ya. Usikov Institute of Radiophysics and Electronics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in Kharkiv, Ukraine. International internet providers were present in this building, which was critically important for us.

The procedure for obtaining a space in a state institute was not easy, but we were helped by the deputy director — Anatoliy Dmytrievich. We still remember his selfless support with gratitude. Working among scientists and professors became a source of inspiration for us.

By the end of 2013, the company was growing actively, and the number of clients was increasing. But in December 2013, we faced raider pressure from Ukrainian law enforcement under the presidency of Viktor Yanukovych. A case was fabricated alleging copyright violations by one of our clients. In fact, this was an attempt to pressure us for regular payments — otherwise, the equipment threatened to be seized "for examination."

We decided not to compromise with such methods. Instead, we decided to open a company in Vilnius, Lithuania.

2014

By February 2014, the company was registered in Vilnius, Lithuania, and in April we found a suitable office. A large and complex migration of servers and services from Kharkiv, Ukraine, to Vilnius, Lithuania, began. By that time, our infrastructure was significant, so we had to buy new equipment in Vilnius to transfer clients carefully without downtime.

2015

In 2015, we sold the local network and fully focused on developing hosting services.

2019

Despite the challenges, the administrative part of the company continued to operate in Kharkiv, Ukraine — we sincerely loved our city. In 2019, we acquired our own DCXV office in Kharkiv, Ukraine, creating a space where the whole team could grow together.

2022

In 2022, after the start of the full-scale war initiated by Russia against Ukraine, the team was forced to leave their homes and the office in Kharkiv, Ukraine. We fully switched to remote work.

Nevertheless, the company's development in Europe continued. In 2022, we placed equipment in a TIER III data center in Vilnius, Lithuania, and fully moved to professional server solutions from DELL, Supermicro, HP, and Cisco, abandoning desktop solutions for industrial reliability.

2024

In December 2024, we expanded our presence in Europe and placed equipment in a TIER III data center in Covilhã, Portugal, hosting our cloud servers and strengthening our cloud infrastructure services.

2025

In 2025, we opened a location in a TIER III data center in Prague, Czechia. We concentrated the main computing power of the company there, ensuring an even higher level of reliability, scalability, and stability for our clients.

2026

In 2026, due to a corporate restructuring, all operational activities were moved to Cyprus, which allowed us to optimize corporate management, international processes, and further scale the business.
